PriorityZones is a startup that offers digital mobile credentialing and contactless access control solutions, which simplify physical access to spaces through a mobile app that incorporates biometric technologies such as facial and voice recognition.
A major sporting event requires months of advance planning for a stadium’s security detail. Traditionally, organizers relied on physical printed lanyards to identify staff’s security clearances. PriorityZones brought Favorite Medium on board for a design project, but we ended up working with them over the long term to design and build several iterations of the their digital lanyard app.
Designing for something as challenging as security meant that we had to proactively anticipate scenarios where someone might try to get around the system. Building our own location services technology, we created ways to restrict people’s access to areas of a building and revoke their credentials instantaneously if necessary. This advanced state-of-the-art system ensures a safer environment for athletes, staff, and fans alike.
